Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

In my top 3 best pizza places in MN for sure. I want to lick the menu just reading it. Their pizza is kick ass. Go here. Walking into this restaurant reminds me of one giant homely dining room with the high ceiling, giant chandelier, and warm wood tones. There are tables throughout, with a bar to your left and open kitchen with a big ass brick pizza oven next to it. You seat yourself. Our server came over pretty quickly and explained the menu since it was our first time. There's just 3 choices of salads, and a list of pizzas. I like that they stay true to their speciality and there isn't a bunch of sandwiches and other junk on there. She also offered us samples of the beers we were thinking of before we ordered which I really appreciated. I should have just kept sampling everything until I got drunk. Next time. We tried the house salad, then did a half Alaskan, half pizza of the month. The salad was refreshing and large, but it was just too sweet for me. It was the candied cranberries and raspberry vinaigrette that gave me a cavity. I also wish the crispy looking bread thing that topped it was crispy. The Alaskan with the salmon, when it came to the table I was very worried, the fish smell punched me in the face. I took a bite and immediately shut up. It was so f'ing good. The crust is thin, buttery, and crispy. The toppings were amazing. The monthly special was topped with fontina (my favorite cheese ever), fancy mushroom, sweet and red onions, bacon, and black truffle oil. They should put this on their everyday menu. I want it everyday. Overall, the service was excellent. The girl that helped us did a great job making us feel welcomed. Everyone we encountered that helped us was ultra nice. They did get really busy though and the drinks then got just a tad slow, but not crazy slow where you're glaring at your server from across the room. Plus she was so friendly that it didn't bother me so much. I just wish they had a full bar, with a name like "Olives," I sorta expected a martini list, but it's a pizza place not a bar...I know. I'll be back for sure. I'm going to wait until my boyfriend goes out of town so I can order a pizza all to myself. I'm selfish and greedy.

Our favorite pizza place!! Fresh ingredients, interesting and delicious choices, a GREAT beer and wine menu!! All of the pizzas and salads we have tried have been wonderful. Our go-to pizza is always the margarita, though, because the sauce is so good. The bartenders and servers are so friendly- we now feel like they are almost family. Now... If only they would serve dessert.

This is great gourmet pizza and among the best in the north east metro. We had the farmer's market (better than expected), cecilia, and a pepperoni and sausage. The crust is thin and just right - crispy, but not over done. The quality of the ingredients is very noticeable. Some other brick oven pizza spots have opened up and for my tastes, Olive's is the best.

Fresh ingredients, friendly, family type staff, cozy, aroma wonderful. What more can you ask for? I only wish they were opened more days and opened for lunch.

What a refreshing find! Not your typical pizza parlor. Wonderful gourmet pizza selection. Comfortable atmosphere and very good service. Try the salmon pizza, yum!

I ate here for the first time with a friend. We wanted a girls night out. We sat at the bar and ordered a half Fresno half Caprese Pizza. It was simply one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted and that would include in Italy, with fresh greens, balsamic, fig, tomato.. Pat made us feel right welcome, giving us stellar service. Will definitely be back in the future.

My wife and I had dinner here and we ordered the Caprese. It was very fresh and tasty. Nice selection of wines and craft beers to complement the meal. We will definitely return! They have a diverse selection of handcrafted pizzas and we will try the Cicelia next. You can craft your own pizza as well.

My heavens this place is fantastic. The wood fire pizza is spot on. Beer? Spectacular. Service? Superb. I know my review may sound silly, but this is a great place to go for great food, service, and a good time. Happy Hour is great as well. I highly recommend coming here for a nice night out.

Spilt your pizza like this, half of the pizza get Alaskan and the other half get The Greek. A really great combo for those who like flavor explosions. The staff is really nice order at the bar get a number and a pint and wait for great thin crust pizza. Great local beer selection when in White Bear !

Just opened. Working out some kinks. No kids menu, unless you want to order a 18" pizza for your kids not really kid friendly. Pizza was pretty good. They did screw up our order a little and were more than willing to accommodate a mixed pizza, 1/2 x, 1/2y and a little but for our daughter, but they messed it up a little. Good beer, pretty good wine list, and multiple TVs to watch the game. I'll come back in a few months to see how they have adapted to the area.

Great addition to the WBL restaurant scene. Nice to not have to drive into St Paul or Minneapolis for a special pizza. Our favorites are the House and Greek Pizzas.

The Framers Market Pizza we ordered as take out was amazing. The crust was done to perfection and the garlic olive oil brush was addicting. Great New Pizza place!

So I've considered myself as a bit of a pizza con da sur, enjoying all styles of pizza but tend to gravitate to neopaltion style pizza. This place has got a really great tasting pizza pie. The toppings are fresh and hearty, the sauce is not to sweet ,but full of fresh spices. Crust was crisp but not at all burnt. I'm so happy to have this place right where I grew up. Telling ya its great pizza with in all the cool shops of downtown WBL and plus the lake is about three blocks away. This is gonna be my to go spot for a pie by my house. Go try it!!!

We love Olives for food and service...big downer is noise level and small tables...not good legroom at the bar...we look forward to an improvement on the ambiance!

Wonderfully mouth watering brick fire, handmade pizzas. The oven is imported from Italy. Delicious selections, I usually get the Farmers Market which has everything, or the salmon pizza, or the margarita pizza. The wine is poured liberally. Any night we want to go out, Olive's is the first place we consider, it's our favorite. The owners are top notch.

Holy wow! One of the best wood-fires pizzas I have had! I super duper loved the Fresno pizza. It has a garlic olive oil base with mozzarella, carmelized fig, thin sliced red onions, Gorgonzola, smoked pancetta, then garnished with Spring greens, aged balsamic cream (THE BOMB!), fresh sliced pear and shaved Parmesan. Possibly the best pizza I have ever had. Great balance of textures and flavors. Wow.

On a night we didn't have the kids, we stopped in. It's a wonderful space, and I love that the kids cooking aren't stuffed away behind a wall. The beer selection is pretty good, a few local choices. Good wine selection in both red and white. We started with the Greek salad. It was large enough for us both to share. Good dressing, crisp greens, and the Kalamata olives are sliced so no spitting out the pits! The pizza we had was the Olive's House pizza. It was phenomenal. The crust makes this pizza. Light, thin, and crispy on the edges but the inside pieces didn't fall apart. The sauce is a little sweeter than what we are used to, but the emphasis was how "fresh" the ingredients tasted and how well they were combined. Prices were in - line with other restaurants in the area. A beer, an iced tea and a soda, the salad and pizza and our bill was just under $50. The atmosphere is great, and just one more "hurray" is that they let you sample their beer on tap, complete with little plastic cups! The kids (well, my kids) will definitely like it here.
